Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stryde website, application, and related features and services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, team, or organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” refers to both you and that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Stryde is a team performance and visibility platform. It provides tools for tracking work and activities, progress visibility, workload and capacity visibility, team management, and performance/evaluation information. Features may be added, modified, improved, or discontinued over time — we do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available.
3. Accounts and Roles
Each Stryde account belongs to a single Team, currently limited to one Team per user. Within a Team, access is organized by role:
- Owner — creates and manages the Team, its subscription, and its members.
- Collaborator — logs and manages their own activities within the Team.
- Viewer — has read-only visibility into Team activity.
You must provide accurate account information, are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, must not share your credentials inappropriately, and are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.
Team Owners are additionally responsible for managing Team membership, assigning appropriate roles, removing users who should no longer have access, and ensuring they have the appropriate authority to add individuals to their Team.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
Stryde offers paid subscription plans (currently Pro and Plus). Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page and applied at checkout.
Payments and subscription billing are processed through Stripe. New subscriptions may include a trial period as described at checkout; unless cancelled during the trial, the subscription converts to a paid plan.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time through the billing portal inside your account; cancelling stops future renewals.
- Access remains available through the paid or trial period already covered by a payment.
- Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- Applicable taxes may be added where required.
- Failed payments may result in restricted or suspended access to paid features.
- Plan pricing may change in the future; we will make reasonable efforts to give active subscribers advance notice of material pricing changes before they take effect for future billing.
- Promotional offers and trial periods may be limited (for example, to one per customer) to prevent abuse.
5. Stripe / Third-Party Payment Processing
Payment processing is provided by Stripe. We do not store your complete payment card details ourselves. Your use of payment processing may also be subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes on the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or Teams that are not your own, or access another Team’s information without authorization.
- Use automated methods to abuse or overload the Service.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, role restrictions, subscription limits, or security controls.
- Introduce malware or other malicious code.
- Impersonate another person.
- Use the Service in a way that violates privacy, employment, intellectual-property, or other applicable rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law.
7. Ownership of Stryde
The Service itself — including its software, source code, product design, interface, branding, logos, documentation, features, and underlying technology — is owned by Stryde. Using the Service does not transfer any ownership of the Service to you.
This is separate from Your Content (Section 8 below), which you and your Team continue to own.
8. Your Content
You retain ownership of the data and content you or your Team enter into Stryde (“Your Content”). You grant us only the rights reasonably necessary to host, store, transmit, display, process, and back up Your Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and support the Service.
We do not use identifiable Team or employee performance information for AI training, advertising, resale, or other unrelated purposes. Where we use aggregated or de-identified usage information to understand or improve the product, that use is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Team and Employee Data Responsibility
Stryde may contain information about people other than the account holder — team members, work activities, progress, hours, workload, capacity, and evaluation/performance information. If you are a Team Owner submitting this kind of information, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- you are authorized to collect and submit it,
- your use of Stryde complies with applicable privacy, employment, workplace, and data-protection requirements, and
- any notices or consents required by law are provided to the people concerned.
Stryde provides the software platform; using it does not, by itself, make your organization compliant with employment or privacy law.
10. Privacy
Your use of Stryde is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it. Stryde uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Service. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim that your data is completely secure.
11. Data Retention and Account Closure
You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from Settings inside the app. Following account termination or deletion, closure of a subscription, or cancellation by an Owner, Stryde may retain certain information for a limited period where reasonably necessary for backup, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance, after which it may be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data-retention practices.
12. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every feature will always be available. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, technical issues, infrastructure or provider outages, or legal requirements.
13. Third-Party Services
Stryde depends on third-party infrastructure and services, including payment processing and hosting/infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
14. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or other feedback, we may use it to improve or develop the Service without any obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of Your Content to us.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access where reasonably necessary for a material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risks, non-payment, legal requirements, or attempts to compromise other users or Teams. Where reasonable, we will attempt to provide notice before or promptly after taking action.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms (such as those relating to liability, ownership, and data) continue to apply after termination.
16. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Stryde provides management and visibility tools. We do not guarantee employee performance, productivity improvements, business outcomes, the accuracy of information entered by users, employment decisions, or financial results. Owners remain responsible for their own management, personnel, and business decisions.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stryde will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of the Service.
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Stryde harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, content you submit, your violation of a third party’s rights, or your material violation of these Terms.
19. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. For material changes to the Terms, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice to active subscribers. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance, where permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
21. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Stryde regarding the Service.
